Whose show is it, anyway?
TRU's new Centre for the Study of Canada presented a panel discussion on the role of the small city in performance.
The panel included members of TRU and Kamloops arts community Barbara Berger of the City of Kamloops, James Hoffman and Ginny Ratsoy (moderator) of TRU, Derek Rein from Project X Theatre, David Ross from Western Canada Theatre and Terri Runnalls of Saucy Fops Theatre.
Service Learning "Out on the Town"
Jen Jones, a
TRU Canadian Studies Service Learning student, assisted in the organizing of the On the Town arts celebration which was held November 4th at TRU's Campus Activity Centre.

Playwright and actor Joan Bryans, a former philosophy instructor at the university, spoke about "Two Years in Nicola"
, a historical play based on the letters of Annie and Jessie McQueen, two educators who moved to the Nicola area from Nova Scotia in the late 1880s.
The talk took place on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at 12:30 PM in room 1019 of the International Building on campus.
As well, the play "Two Years in Nicola", which was studied by literature and history students at TRU, was performed in the historic St. Andrews on the Square from October 18 to 22.
April
Canadian Studies Day 2005 was held on Wednesday, April 13. It presented a public forum on the subject of "Community Arts and the University: Past Relationships and Future Opportunities" and featured a discussion panel of:
