The TRU Alumni Association was established in 1990 and serves the alumni of Cariboo College, UCC and Thompson Rivers University. The association has thousands of members in all parts of the world and in all walks of life. Every student of TRU becomes a member of the Alumni Association upon graduation. We provide a variety of programs and services for current students and for alumni.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the time and expertise of our volunteers to deliver our programs and services. Please consider being a volunteer for the Alumni Association.

Approved by the TRU Alumni and Friends Association Board in May 2010, the Operational Plan document details the core values, activities and roles of the organization.The development process of this document has been a collaborative effort between the Thompson Rivers University Alumni & Friends Association and the TRU Advancement Office. The emphasis is on achievable actions that can be implemented, reviewed and measured. This is working document that will be updated on an annual basis.

Board of Directors
As a non-profit society, the Alumni Association is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of alumni and appointees from the TRU Foundation Board of Directors and the TRU Board of Governors. The board meets quarterly and members also serve on various committees.
