Application Deadline Information
When to Apply
Applications are accepted, starting October 1st, for programs starting in August or September the following year.
Deadlines to Apply
- First Year University Arts, Science and Business:
Early Application Deadline: March 1st
Best course selection with highest priority for early July course registrations.
Regular Deadline: April 30th
Registration for courses will be available in July.
Late Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted until the beginning of the Fall/September semester, however students will only be admitted and allowed to register in courses as space permits.
- Transfers to TRU Degrees:
Students from another college or university may apply to transfer to TRU anytime after October 1 – applications will be accepted until the program is full.
- All Other Programs:
Deadlines will vary from January through August.
- Limited Admission Programs generally accept applications up to the regular deadline or until the program is full and a waiting list is in place. Contact Admissions at any time to inquire if your program is still taking applications.
- Selective Admission Programs each set their own deadlines. Check the program's website or contact Admissions (admissions@tru.ca) for specifics.
Apply early: Students from BC and across Canada are now applying for admission. This makes applying early more important, as many programs have a limited capacity.
