• Mainstage Entertainment and official proceedings

  September 10, outside on the Campus Commons
  Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket! Entertainment, announcements, and prize draws from 4pm-8pm on Friday, September 10. You, your family and friends are welcome to watch the entertainment free of charge. The evening's entertainment will end with a grand finale of a Kamloops Symphony performance and fireworks!!
  At 5pm there will be an official welcome from the mainstage, followed by an aboriginal flag-raising ceremony and TRU World parade. Entertainment will then continue until the fireworks which are scheduled to go off at dark, at approximately 8pm.

  $10 tickets are now on sale in TRUSU's Independent Centre, in the Advancement Office at CT140, or on line at www.tru.ca/40. Children 5-years and under receive free meals. Please note that advance ticket sales will allow us to prepare an adequate amount of chicken. Tickets will be $15 as of September 8.

• Memorabilia

  The TRU Retirees group is collecting memorabilia for displaying on the mezzanine of our Gymnasium on September 9 and 10. If you have Cariboo College, UCC, TRU memorabilia or photographs you would like to show, please contact retiree Susan Petrovcic to arrange drop-off spetrovcic@tru.ca.

• Anniversary T-Shirts

  The Bookstore now has a stock of anniversary t-shirts. They're $10 each plus tax, and proceeds from the t-shirt sales will be directed to the Foundation's unrestricted fund for student bursaries.
